Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge . . . .

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.   There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends as they can run and play together.   There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.   All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor, those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.   The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.   They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.   Their bright eyes are intent, their eager body quivers.   Suddenly the animal begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, legs carrying them faster and faster.   YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted.   The happy kisses rain upon your face, you hands again caress the beloved head, and you once more look into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.   Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together . . . .
My boy, Unicum
My heart it weighs so heavy - There simply is no song
To illustrate the joy you brought - Sweet Unicum has gone…
Your presence spread such happiness - Each minute of each day
The gap you’ve left is hard to fill - I just wanted you to stay!
But memories are such precious things - They continue and live on
And although my lad has left me - His spirit’s never gone . . .
So Unicum I know you’re here - We’ll meet again one day
In a pasture or a meadow - We’ll have so much to say!
We’ll laugh and play together - In a whirl of love you’ll see
That always does means forever   - Sweet Unicum and me…
Elsie, forever our girl
When we picked you up, we just didn't know
That You'd become 'family', we still love you so.

The first time we watched you lay down in your bed
We never envisage, such laughter ahead.

You weren't into walking, you wouldn't go far
Your real 'cup of tea' was a ride in the car!

You did love the garden, you'd potter about
You'd lie in the sunshine, and sit there and pout!

So rich in character, so full of love
We'd keep you forever, like the stars up above.

You were the joy in our lives, from each morning 'til night
We love you dear ELSIE, rest now girl, sleep tight   x
Our little Sunshine, Sonny
Here is our little Sonny - so small and petite.
His nature was lovely, just really so sweet!
We loved him, and nursed him, through four months of life,
and when he was taken we suffered such strife...

But four months with Sonny was simply divine.
He gladdened our hearts and just made the sun shine!
We all fell in love with this cute little treasure.
Our love for him - still - you can simply not measure...

So Sonny - our boy - you are not far away,
We think, and we talk about you everyday!

Elsie will look after you x

All our love xxxxx
Our Roxy, so full of fun!
Forever young Forever sweet
Your frizbee's by the door
We miss you daily little lass
We love you all the more
